Own board-level design and validation for our power and motion hardware, from schematic to production-relevant testing. You take boards from a blank sheet to a working unit, and you are the person who knows why they work.
Design the mechanics our actuators live in: joints, transmissions and precision assemblies that survive real loads. You own what it's made of, how it goes together, and how we prove it.
Build the software developers actually touch: the co:system API (C++ core, Python bindings), the tooling, logging and simulation around it. From the real-time boundary up to the developer's fingertips.
Write the firmware that runs our motion controllers, power modules and sensor nodes. Real deadlines, real hardware, and a bus that doesn't forgive a missed one.
No specialization. The whole robot. Use the coprod stack the way our customers will: design, wire, flash and tune complete robots like co:dodo, and feed what you learn back into the product.
Half engineer, half front line. Take the stack to customers, events and hackathons: deploy robots on site, unblock the people building on it, and carry what they need back into the roadmap.
Own how the world finds out. Content, campaigns, community and the numbers behind them. Build the funnel for a hardware company that ships.
The generalist seat next to the founders. Keep a hardware company running and compliant: legal, accounting, contracts, admin, and take whatever comes off the founders’ desks next.
Sell robots to the people who build with them. You’ve done this before at a robotics company. You know the cycles, the buyers, and what a hardware deal actually takes.
